Our Training

As you can imagine our service takes a lot of skill to work on an awake animal, thus our training is quite extensive. We can clean the teeth of virtually any dog or cat that is not aggressive. If we can't clean the teeth there is no charge.

First we choose the best candidate we can find, they are usually a professional with animal or dental experience. Our team includes licensed dentists, human dental hygienists, veterinary technicians and we work for and with veterinarians.

Our training includes extensive hands on training until our new "Pet Dental Hygienist" can successfully clean teeth without anesthesia. Depending on their past experiences the hands on training takes on average 1 month. Veterinary Technicians tends to train quickly because of their pet handling experience. We don't have any specific time frame set because we train individuals until they are 100% perfect.

We also provide an extensive manual written by the creator and founder of this service, and 3 text books.
